Intensive-In-Community Services Program
Intensive In-Community Services are one component of the continuum of mental health care services provided through the Division of Children System of Care. Services are provided for children, teenagers, and young adults from the age of 3 years old to 21 years old. As part of an integrated service plan, addressing the unique needs of the child, youth or young adult and his or her family/caregiver with the goal of stabilizing and maintaining the child, youth or young adult in the community and averting the need for more intensive services, including, but not limited to, treatment in residential or other inpatient settings.
Intensive in-community mental health rehabilitation services are goal-oriented and focused, and are intended to support the needs of the child, youth or young adult and his or her family/caregiver to remain in the community. Intensive in-community services are intended to be time-limited interventions that support the child and family in the community, while the child and family are connected with office-based practitioner services or as a short term adjunct to office-based practitioner services in order to support the child/family in their current living arrangement.
Power House Psychotherapy & Addiction, LLC provides Intensive-In-Community Services that allow our clients to stay in their home and community while still receiving the care and support that they need. Our Intensive-In-Community Services are a less restrictive form of behavioral healthcare and substance-abuse interventions where we still provide clinical therapies and support services in the place where our clients feel most comfortable.
Intensive-In-Community Services may include: IIC Services, Behavioral Assistance services, BPS Strength and Need Assessment, and Substance Abuse/Use Evaluation.
